St. Francis School of Vista

Kindergarten

Kindergarten at St. Francis School is such an exciting time! This is when our little ones begin to build their primary education. Our curriculum is designed to give students foundational reading, writing, and critical thinking skills, as well as prepare them for the real world. And, we encourage curiosity, enthusiasm and imagination.

Dear Future Friar Family,

Welcome to St. Francis School of Vista. I am pleased to present our special and unique community to you!

At St. Francis School we celebrate the fact that everyone learns differently, and we work with each student to identify and cultivate specific interests and goals in a challenging and stimulating educational environment. As a school community, we are united in making sure all our students are challenged and supported.

We believe in engaging your child to think critically and reason intellectually to prepare him or her to be a successful citizen and exceptional leader of tomorrow. Above all, it's our mission to bring Christ’s love to every student and to teach them to love the same way.

There is no greater gift you can give to your child, grandchild, or Godchild than a Catholic education. Our faculty and staff appreciate the commitment and sacrifice parents make to give students the gift of a Catholic education. As a school community, we take that trust very seriously.

Open enrollment for Kindergarten has begun for the 2019/2020 school year! I invite you to send us an email to schedule a one-on-one visit with me and tour our wonderful school.

Tuition Assistance & Financial Aid

No child should be denied his or her right to an education in faith, which in turn nurtures the soul of a nation.
—Pope Benedict XVI

We believe that ALL families should have access to a Catholic education regardless of socioeconomic status. Families have the option of applying for tuition assistance, the Bishop Flores Scholarship, or both!

Applying for Tuition Assistance is easy!

Applications for Tuition Assistance can be submitted using the FACTS Application. The Tuition Assistance Application process opens in mid-February and all applications are due by April 15.

More about the Bishop Flores Scholarship

The goal of the Bishop Flores Scholarship tuition assistance program is to assist families in need that are struggling with the financial burden of Catholic education in the Diocese of San Diego. We want to partner with families that can contribute in some manner to the education costs, but need added help in order to make it happen. Applications open in January. Learn more and apply here >>
