Religion is integrated within all aspects of our curriculum. In preschool, we start each day with age appropriate prayers of adoration and thanksgiving, to include singing and movement, as we praise God. Although preschool students do not attend Friday Mass with the K-8 students, we have prayerful celebrations in the classroom, in addition to our beautiful Christmas and Easter celebrations, in which all children participate. Our preschool religion curriculum is based from the textbook, God Made Me and God Made the World, a Christ Our Life Series.
IntroductionOur preschool faculty consists of five highly qualified teachers who work as a team to provide a loving and caring environment for your child. All of the teachers have completed the necessary requirements for:
The preschool curriculum is developed through observations and individual evaluations of your child. Developmentally appropriate concepts and skills are introduced which reinforce the social, emotional, physical, intellectual, and spiritual growth of each child. Concrete, hands-on activities and experiences are planned according to a calendar of themes and units relevant to the child, which provides meaningful learning. Field trips and special events are also planned to enhance the preschool curriculum.
Our program is designed to meet the needs of the children and our working parents. All of our preschool programs follow the same school calendar as the K-8 students (September – June).
Please feel free to contact us at any time with questions regarding our preschool programs. We look forward to working with you as our partners in education.
