Preschool Director

Mrs. Jennifer Paino



Mrs. Jennifer has been teaching at St. Francis Preschool since 1985 and is currently serving as the preschool Director. She has an AA in Early Childhood Education and possesses a California Department of Education Site Supervisor Permit. She is very blessed to have had her 4 children graduate from St. Francis School with a wonderful foundation for their faith and the great study skills to carry them through their college graduations. Her husband of 46 years is known as the Preschool Santa. She grateful for a loving and dedicated staff to work with and looks forward to each faith-filled year of nurturing the children entrusted to our program.

Pre-K Techer (4 year olds)

Mrs. Diana Treadwell



Diana Treadwell has been teaching since 1983, and has taught at St Francis Preschool since 1985. Along with teaching preschool, she has worked with the after school program. Diana has a preschool teaching certificate from Mira Costa College and is currently working toward a California Department of Education Site Supervisor Certificate. She attended Catholic Schools growing up and was blessed to be able to send her three children to St Francis School where they received a great education. She is an avid reader and among her hobbies are sewing and gardening. She has four grandchildren who she is extremely proud of and spends time with them whenever possible.

Mrs. Zita Valente



Mrs. Zita was a substitute teacher in 2014 and became part of the teaching staff in 2015. She is married to Mario and has three sons. She enjoys working with children and is happy to be part of the St. Francis team.



Good Samaritans Teacher (3 year olds)

Mrs. Libby Caplinger


Mrs. Libby lives in Murrieta, Ca. with her husband of 30 years, Dennis.  They have 3 children: Melissa is 27, Zachary 23 and Rachael 18. Mrs. Libby has been teaching young children for over 35 years, 24 of those years at St. Francis.  Libby has her Early Childhood Certification from Mira Costa college and is working towards her State teaching permit.  Libby is currently a co-teacher in the Good Samaritan class.




Good Samaritans Teacher (3 year olds)

Ms. Christine Williamson




Ms. Williamson has been with St. Francis Preschool since 2012. She began her teaching career as the lead teacher in Noah’s Ark, our preschool class for 2-3yr olds. Christine is an Alumni of St. Francis School. She attended this school for 11 years, starting in our 3yr old preschool class, with Ms. Jennifer as her teacher. She has always had a passion for nurturing young children. Christine started out caring for children, at the age of 11. Prior to being a preschool teacher, she was a nanny for a number of families.  She received the following degrees and certificates: Certificate of Achievement: Site Supervisor, Associate in Arts Degree: General Studies – Social/Behavioral Sciences, Associate in Arts Degree: Preschool Teacher, Certificate of Achievement: Preschool Teacher, Certificate of Proficiency: Assistant Teacher. In 2016, she obtained her California State permit for Site Supervisor. She is looking forward to being the Assistant Director this year and working with the new Good Samaritan Class.





Noah's Ark Teacher (2 year olds)

Mrs. Xochitl Carrillo



Ms. Carrillo was born in Mexico City, and raised in Vista. She attended a visual and performing arts school where she enjoyed dancing and performing. After high school Ms. Carrillo attended Mira Costa College and achieved an A.A. Degree in Child Development and Fine Arts. She also received the Associate Teacher Assistance certificate and finished the Service Learning Program in the Child Development Center with one hundred in fifty hours completed.

When not working Ms. Carrillo enjoys spending time with her family, her husband Juan, and daughter Areli. She also enjoys dancing Zumba and visiting Mexico. As a devoted Catholic, she has been a member of St. Francis of Assisi church her entire life.

Noah's Ark Teacher (2 year olds)

Ms. Valeria Jimenez 





Valeria Jimenez has been teaching since 2012 and joined St. Francis staff in 2015. She is currently attending Grand Canyon University to obtain her bachelors in early childhood education. She really enjoys her job and being able to share her faith with all of their students.
